Last week it was my 3rd and 4th graders performing for their winter concert. This week it was my preschooler and Kindergartener. Only the preschooler was sick. He stayed home Monday with a small cough that escalated on Tuesday to something that couldn’t be shrugged off so I took him to the pediatrician. They gave him a medicated mist to inhale for 15 minutes to see if that opened up his airways.
Xavier missed not only his performance but the whole week of school. Thankfully he’s feeling much better now.

I was going to stop it there, but we woke up to an inch of snow this morning. The kids’ school was cancelled so we held an EPIC SNOWBALL FIGHT in the back yard. August wasn’t going to come outside at first, but he finally did come out and have some fun.
This was, of course, followed by hot chocolate.
