Getting Ready For St. Helens

Packing list for an overnight trip:

1 “Pack & Play” playpen that doubles as a portable crib

1 baby backpack to transport toddler around as necessary

Change of clothes (X5)

Swimsuits (X5)

Swim diapers

A few favorite stuffed animals

1 favorite blanket

3 sets of kid pajamas

1 backpack full of books & toys for the car ride

1 backpack that doubles as a fully stocked diaper bag, only even more so (20 diapers, diaper wraps, wipes, etc.)

Bread, peanut butter & Jelly for 2 days worth of lunches

1 bag of Frito chips

Assorted juice boxes

Milk & cereal for breakfast

Bowls & plates (5 each)

The proper number of utensils

Fruit (in this case a large assortment of blueberries, raspberries, bananas and tangerines)

Water

A large cooler to put the food in

Toothbrushes, toothpaste, sunscreen, vitamins, Ibuprofen, etc.

Camera

Batteries for the camera

We remembered all of that, but forget my wallet and a map. Thankfully we were only a couple of minutes from the house when we had to turn around.
