First Day Of School Edition!!
Yesterday was the first day of school for the kids. Well, for a couple of them anyway. It was a half day, and Ciárán starts up with preschool again next week, but still – FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!
Here’s August going into 3rd grade
Déla is going into 2nd grade (and has the other 2nd grade teacher, the one August didn’t have last year).
They were eager to get going, which is nice.
It was also the first day of school for Laura. She is beginning her career as a certified teacher as the long term substitute in a first grade classroom while the regular teacher recovers from surgery. The students in her school don’t show up until next week, so yesterday for her was filled with meetings, planning, etc. but yesterday still was her first official day AS A TEACHER!
