There seems to be a stereotype about Seattle residents, and I’ve found it to be true for the most part.
By and large, IPA (or India Pale Ale) is the preferred beer. Sure other people outside of Seattle drink it, but it seems virtually everybody in Seattle does. And Pearl Jam. Everybody here loves Pearl Jam.
Alright, not quite everybody. There are some people who are not fans of the band here in Seattle. And apparently not everybody drinks IPA.
I am, as far as I can tell, the only Seattle resident that isn’t a fan of Pearl Jam and doesn’t like IPA. I don’t have anything against the band, really, it’s just not my thing. But really, it does feel most times I am the only one who doesn’t drink IPA.
Apparently I’m a Seattle anomaly.
