Xavier’s first day of pre-school today. He was eager to go. After dropping off August, Déla and Ciárán in their respective lines at school, Xavier asked “Can I run now, dad?”
And he ran.
He ran so fast I couldn’t get a picture of him. he was eager to get to preschool. When I caught up with him at the door he turned around, gave my legs a quick hug, I bent down, gave him a kiss, and then he was already halfway through the door. That quick. He sort of half turned around as he walked away, raised his left hand and said “Bye, dad.”
Before we left for school I said “Let’s get a picture of you on your first day of pre-school.” This is what he did.
