Sunday was the “Ribbon Run” for cross country, but only for the younger grades (K-3). August (Grade 4) will run next Sunday in the championship race for the upper grades (4-8). Here are Ciárán and Déla suited up and ready to run.
I was able to be in a position to watch Ciárán as he began his race. The first picture he’s off and running with the pack. I put a red circle around him so he’s easier to spot. The second picture was taken just a couple of seconds later and his speed is drastically different as you’ll notice.
Here they are as they approach the finish line.
