Where Are The 49er Dad Bloggers? Hiding!

Remember last week when I had a blog post about the Seahawks and Saints football game? I set up another challenge for this past weekend with regards to the Seahawks and 49ers game. Only this time the opposing team fans weren’t so eager to join in. There was some difficulty in finding a Saints fan for the challenge but there is no shortage of 49ers fans within the dad blogging community.

So why was it so difficult to wager a blog post on the outcome of the game?

Yes, this is me calling out the other dad bloggers. Maybe it’s a little bit petty. But you know what? Considering how many dad bloggers are 49ers fans and how they trash-talked the Seahawks over the last couple of months, I expected some of them to back it up by putting a blog post on the line.

Only one dad did – CJ Cat and his blog DadsALawyer. He was the only 49er fan man enough to step up and take the challenge. Everybody else talked big but ultimately weren’t able to find the fortitude to deliver.

Win or lose I was ready. I would have posted a blog post on the skills of the team, the virtues of the fan dad bloggers or San Francisco as a city. I was ready to back up my favored team and not through a lot of posturing and trash-talk, but by simply wagering a blog post. I expected more. Better.

Whatever. The Seahawks are on the way to the Super Bowl.
