“I participated in an Influencer Program on behalf of Dad Central for ROGAINE®. I received a product sample and promotional item to thank me for participating.”
I’ve been thinking a lot about the “Grow Your Game” initiative by ROGAINE. What does that mean? Sure, the company is using language that directly references hair growth, but there’s a lot more to it. Define what your game is. To grow something means, at least in a plant sense you cultivate it. Kids grow up, adults grow older, etc. There’s a lot that can be taken from the company’s initiative.
I’m expecting my 6th kid in a few months. My game is already growing.
Bill Rancic, winner of the first “The Apprentice” has teamed up with ROGAINE to offer up his own experience with the product as well as his personality. After winning “The Apprentice” he has since moved on to television production and more.
“There’s no reward without risk.”
This is a quote attributed to Mr. Rancic, and it’s a sentiment that I’ve heard before, just maybe not in those exact words. But it’s true. By putting yourself out there, by risking something (dignity, rejection, whatever) that is the only way to truly get what we want.
There’s a website dedicated to this effort – http://mhgrowyourgame.com/, maybe it can give you some ideas and tips. There are also 5 “regular guys” there who are getting coached on how to grown their game from various coaches in areas ranging from health and fitness to style to relationships and more.
So what am I going to do? I’m still not sure, to be honest. Let me end with another quote from Bill Rancic. It’s an area I’ve been having trouble with and probably a good start.
“Never be afraid to ask for help.”
