Alright – so it’s been a crazy month. Here’s part of what I haven’t been able to spend the time to work on.
The weekend before St. Patrick’s Day Déla participated with her dance studio in the St/ Patrick’s Day parade. Here she is lined up and waiting to go.
Of course it wasn’t just walking the parade route. There were times when she had to dance. Look at her on her toes as she moves from side to side.
And while it looks like she’s walking, she’s actually up in the air in this picture.
After the parade the whole company (well, those that were in the parade) got together for a picture.
The next day she participated with her dance company at the Irish Heritage Festival. It was her first performance and she did great.
I wrote a little bit about this weekend over on Ask A Great Dad.
That night, just before going to bed, August and Déla worked on leprechaun traps. I wish I had pictures of the aftermath but can’t find them. At least I have the setup. August set up his using a box he made a couple years ago at Cub Scout Camp.
Déla’s was much more elaborate.
