Last Saturday was crazy busy. Dela had the Emerald City Feis (Irish dance competition) and August and Ciaran had their Cub Scout pinewood derby – at the same time.
Let’s begin with Dela.
Unfortunately since I had August and Ciaran (and Xavier and Tevye) this meant Laura was trying to take pictures and video of Dela. They didn’t turn out as well as hoped. We do have a few that work though.
Of the 8 dances she did, she medaled in 4 of them – coming in 1st place in one of them!
Meanwhile in a different part of town…
Or if you want to see just the highlights of August and Ciaran coming in first in a couple of their heats…
Ciaran came in 3rd out of 5 and August came in 2nd out of 4 (a very close second). His car was dubbed the “Golden Surfer” (cousin to the Silver Surfer, who is the harbinger of Galactus, only Bob is a harbinger of pizza).
Sunday Xavier had a birthday part to attend. The weather was nice and parking at Golden Gardens was so very difficult to come by.
Today being Friday Xavier had Gymnastics. Here he is at the end of the session jumping into the foam pit.
I wonder if that 4th bottom tooth will ever come in on Tevye.
