This year my life is so hectic I am unable to plan out and execute my normal Beatles Week posts. I am, however, able to get something posted, so here we go. Tell Me Why and BeatleSongs have no real information regarding these recordings.
This year the US Beatles Fan Club sent out a postcard instead of this recorded message members of the UK Beatles Fan Club recieved. This would also be the last one Tony Barrow, the band’s press agent, would attempt to script. He wrote out the first three messages for John, Paul, George and Ringo to say, but of course they simply wouldn’t be satisfied without ad-libbing and joking around.
