I told you a little bit about about the 20th annual Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood Sweater Drive kickoff at the KCTS 9 Seattle Center studio (and most likely your own local PBS station). Now that local (for Seattle) drive is expanding. New and gently used items can be donated at the Redmond and Bellevue branches of the King County Library system on February 2, join in some story time, and possibly even get a picture with Daniel Tiger.
Event Details:
- Gather jackets, shirts, pants, blouses, and other new or gently-used clothing
- Stop by participating KCLS branch locations:
- Redmond Library from 10:30am to 12:00pm (15990 NE 85th St, Redmond, WA 98052)
- Bellevue Library from 1:30pm to 3:00pm (1111 110th Ave NE, Bellevue, WA 98004)
- Drop off the clothing donation to receive a PBS KIDS “treasure” and be entered to win an exclusive Daniel Tiger Kids Giveaway!
- Use #FindDanielTiger for a photo opportunity with Daniel Tiger (the cardboard version) and share with your friends and family
Registration is requested for both library events. Complete details online at KCTS9.org/events.
