It’s been a good week. Here’s what has been going on.
First, let’s start with swim lesson, which Tevye really enjoys. And yes, that is a rubber duckie on his head.
Earlier this week I talked (partly) about how long of a day Sunday was. Here are a few more pictures from that day, starting off with Xavier crossing the finish line.
Ciárán put on a burst of speed at the end to pass someone.
Déla also finished strong.
Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of August finishing his race. I was, however, present during the Boy Scout court of honor earlier this week where he was awarded the merit badges he earned at summer camp (a post I still need to make).
Not only that, but he advanced in rank to Life Scout. Well on his way to Eagle.
During soccer practice I took Tevye once again and was struck with just how adventurous he was on the playground.
And then there was the time I went to get Grace up and found her like this.
That’s it for this week. I missed getting a picture of Xavier playing kickball, of Déla being goofy, Xavier at the Cub Scout meeting, Ciárán doing a belt test for karate, August at the orthodontist, and other events, but things just go by so quickly I don’t always have time to get a picture to capture the moment.
