I know it has been a couple of weeks, I have already addressed why.
Let’s move on.
This is going to be a big update, plenty of stuff having taken place since the last one of these, including a lot of Cub and Boy Scout stuff – but that is, of course, not all.
How about we start off with a nice shot of our (current) toddler?
Here are couple of pictures from my dad’s memorial mass that didn’t quite fit into the narrative. This one is my cousin Becky getting a picture with Dela. What I find funny is Becky is naturally tall, the only person who is like 6 foot 9 but in two inch heels is more like 7 foot 10 and she is stooping to be at the same level as my daughter, but notice what Dela is doing. And that look.
That picture of us in my previous post? The one of my siblings and cousins? Here is the aftermath. Apparently there is a picture taking of just the siblings, a picture I don’t have. From left to right is my cousin Sean, Becky, and my mother. Between the three of them I still don’t have the picture that was being taken at this moment.
Ah, Cub Scout Winter Camp. Guess what we did.
No, really, go on, guess.
I think Ciaran and Xavier had fun.
Somebody built a fire behind our cabin and even brought smores making, enough to share with the whole cabin.
Ciaran went directly from the tube hill to the treats.
Xavier learned how to play Hearts during Winter Camp.
As we were getting ready to leave, clearing the snow and ice off the cars the boys were having a good time playing in the snow.
Yes, that’s me on the left, Ciaran and Xavier, then Harrison, who is in Ciaran’s den and his dad Craig who has been a big help with me this year.
A few days after Winter Camp there was a den meeting for the first graders where we built bird houses. That is August helping out as a Den Chief.
Snow came to Seattle, and during a time when nobody would miss school, which was nice.
Everybody got outside, in varying degrees of dress, and had some fun.
I do wish I was able to get the picture approximately a half second after this one as the snow was flying towards the camera.
There wasn’t so much a snowball fight as it was just flinging the powder at others.
Everybody was having fun.
You can kind of see just how powdery the snow was in this shot.
The WEBELO scouts joined the Boy Scouts for one of their troop meetings. On that particular meeting some HAM radio enthusiasts were there to share their knowledge. It was a very interesting night and all the boys were really engaged. Here you see August and Ciaran working with another scout trying to triangulate a signal to locate its source.
Dr. Seuss Day. Tevye was being a cat.
That’s it.
