The Washington State Spring Fair is coming to Puyallup, and will be held April 19 – 22 this year. Of course with a fair comes entertainment. Some returning favorites as well as newer offerings are slated to lure you to the Washington State Fair Events Center this Spring.
In addition to the free entertainment such as pig races, an Elvis tribute, Australian animals on exhibit, and many more daily shows, rides, petting zoo, and so much more, there are a few premium events being held.
Cirque Ma’Ceo Equestrian Stunt Show April 20-22
Step back in time and experience the enchanting world of Ma’Ceo. As a break from today’s world of frills and technology, the world of Ma’Ceo takes people back to the roots of gypsy heritage. Let the swirling winds of passion transcend you as the age old fellowship between man and horse is brought back to life and awaits you with open arms.
Tickets for this event are in addition to the regular gate admission. Single tickets are $7 with a four-pack running $20. Kids five and under are free.
Malicious Monster Truck Tour/Show April 20 7:30 p.m.
In addition to the Monster Truck Show the evening of the 20th, fans can get up close and personal between 4 and 6p.m. when ticket holders can check out the trucks and meet the drivers during the Pit Party. For an extra $8 on Friday the 20th from 2 – 6 p.m. and Saturday the 21st from 10 – 5 p.m. fans can actually get in one of the monster trucks and take a ride.
Advance tickets are on sale now through April 19 at a discount and will include gate admission. premium seats will run $38 and general seating $23 with kids 18 and under costing $12. Under 2 are free if they are in your lap.
Slamfest Demolition Derby April 21st and 22nd
Slamfest Demolition Derby is produced by Evergreen Speedway/High Road Promotions. The Saturday derby is classified “Chain and Go,” and includes Figure 8s, the Derby Heat Races and Slamfest (the last car standing wins). It concludes with a fireworks show. The Sunday derby features the third annual boat bash, with large cars dragging the boats. A free pit party for Slamfest ticket holders follows the Sunday show.
Advance tickets through April 19 are available, and again at a discount. The premium box seats run $35 with general admission being $21 and kids under 18 costing $12 – and again those under 2 are free if they sit in your lap.
A “Family Pack” for either event will run $60 and include two adult and two child tickets and is available through April 19.
Admission to the Washington State Spring Fair is $12 with kids 6-18 running $10. Kids aged 5 and younger are free. Get your tickets now and save a couple of bucks per ticket, and there are other deals such as a bundle that includes fair admission and ride tickets.
