So much happened over the last few months, we were so busy I didn’t have much time to work on this blog as you can tell from the lack of posts. Let me catch you up on some of the highlights since June.
You might remember the last post just before my unplanned hiatus included, among other things, Ciáran crossing over from Cub Scouts into Boy Scouts. here he is working with the other Boy Scouts in the troop to cook his own dinner on his first Boy Scout outing.
Grace was the subject of a behavioral test at the University of Washington. All of our kids have been test subjects at one point or another, so why should Grace be any different?
Really all they did was observe her reactions to behaviors of people on a monitor, like taking a cookie from somebody, things like that.
Then there was another feis – and we couldn’t get any good pictures, and even this one of Déla getting a trophy sucks because it was in a completely backlit room.
One week Ciaran and Xavier had coding camp. Here we are at pick up.
Here is Xavier working on his project.
Déla went away to (a new for her) camp. Here she is with her friend Maddy getting loaded onto the bus. We wouldn’t see her again for another 8 days.
It was during this same week Tevye had his own camp to attend. World Camp is run by one of the preschool teachers with each day focusing on a different country. One day was Mexico and the activity was around the Day of the Dead celebration, with face painting.
That’s just the beginning. Plenty more to come.
