Crappy Posts

I had what I thought were good blog post ideas, but either I forgot them before I could write them down or they just didn’t hold up after two sentences.

Today is another “no school” day for some of the kids because of conferences. That is fine, really, and I have no complaints about that. One of the ideas, or half-ideas I suppose, was something about how we are dealing with all the different school schedules and might have even more next year, but that felt hollow.

Another idea was about new shoes. I got one paragraph into it and it was just as horrible as you could imagine. I know today is Monday, and I should have some sort of musically oriented post, but I can’ remember what my idea was and don’t have another at the ready.

Parenting? Why would I write a blog post about that?

The older my kids get, the more “experience” I have as a parent, the more unsure of things I am, the more sure about what I don’t know as opposed to  what I do know.

So I offer this up as a crappy placeholder, simply to keep my streak running in this National Blog Post Month attempt.

Yay, me.
