There are so many pictures of this place I could post, but really, what I want to do is encourage you to go yourself if ever in the Victoria B.C. area. Fort Rodd Hill And the Fisgard Lighthouse were certainly a highlight of our trip.
Some of the buildings are set up to display how they would have looked while the base was active.
Interactive displays do have some drawbacks.
Really fascinating stuff all over the place.
Thankfully these shells were all fake.
I could probably do a couple of full posts on the exhibits.
One was about women in the force and back home during World War II. Grace really liked that one.
There were a lot of great shots, and I could easily have four times as many pictures to show, and maybe if you’re interested I’ll share them. But for now, just know that this is a place you want to get to. Great, accessible history.
