Here is the second of two parts of my catch-up series for this school year. A number of abbreviated postings glossing over what has happened so far, trying to simply get caught up and not three months behind. Here is Xavier during one of the cross country meets.
Ciáran had a bit of improvement over last year.
Déla did also did pretty well.
Xavier also did soccer this year and was one of the better players on the team.
had a tire issue and spent way too long waiting with Grace. This was early on before things degenerated into a complete mess.
Oh, there was a lot of fun with the fallen leaves.
Speaking of which…
I made it to August’s final meet of the season. He never gave up, never quit and even finished third from last (which is saying something). I am really proud of his performance and fortitude over the season.
There was a day off from school so I took a couple of the kids to the zoo. The snow leopards were out. I mean, OUT, and playing. We sat there for 20 minutes and saw them active for more time than the cumulative entirety of going to the zoo over the last 20 years.
The boys certainly had fun.
On Halloween people wore costumes to school.
And that brings up just about to the present day.
Just about.
