Phamily Foto Phriday – 2-21-19

I know it’s been a while. I’m not even going to bother with why. Let’s just get into it.

Let’s start with Grace enjoying a nice bubble bath.

Next we have Dela doing her family history project. Not in the picture here are a number of other props that are behind Dela or just out of frame. I mean, a lot of props.

I think this is Tevye’s favorite game. We’ve had it for 20 years.

Oh, and the snow. You may have heard about Seattle’s snow issue. It started out fine with a typical Seattle snowstorm.

Everybody had fun going out to play in the rare accumulation of the white stuff.

August started working almost immediately.

And since we don’t have sleds we have to make do with what we have around the house.

It wasn’t all snow – Ciaran had his belt test and advanced.

Just kidding, it was all snow, and it was a lot of snow.

How much snow?

So much snow that it stopped being fun. here is August’s project he started.

I took three of the kids to a movie during the unscheduled downtime from school. We took the bus, since the main roads were clear for the most part it was side streets that didn’t get cleared for us to drive much.

Unlike everybody else, Grace kept wanting to go out in the snow.

Then came Valentine’s Day, and this was one of the “cards” Xavier got, but it was too small and as soon as he squeezed into it it started ripping so I got a picture before it ripped too much further.

A couple of days overlapped after the snow where Laura was on break and the kids were not in school so we went to the zoo. August had school and Dela had play practice so it was “just” these four who made it to the zoo.

Xavier probably could have stayed watching the sleeping bears for hours.

I’m going to end this post with a picture of Grace that needs no explanation.
