Here are a few things from the end of May and June that didn’t get posted yet.
Towards the end of the school year the 5th grade does “Colonial Day” where the whole class dresses up according to their job. Here is Ciarran, thrilled I am taking his picture. The hat I purchased while on the 8th grade trip to Washington D.C.
Here are Ciaran and Grace playing on the playground. She is absolutely fearless with regards to climbing on things, much like her brother was.
Somebody loves the horse in front of Fred Meyer.
While I already posted about his last game of the season, here is Xavier at the game before that one, you’ll see him at bat first, then see him come home, then bat again.
June also saw Xavier’s first “road feis” (as we like to call them). He found out rather quickly that waiting is the most difficult part.
But he did well.
How well? 3rd place in the Reel Special the first day.
Déla came in 12th out of 31 in the Blind Hornpipe.
The next day Xavier got 1st place in Reel Special, surprising everyone, including himself.
Here the two of them are with their various medals and trophies.
It wasn’t all dancing and waiting. We did have time to hit the hotel pool. Here they are skipping down the hall on the way there.
Finally, somebody thinks they are ready to learn to drive.
