It has been twelve days since the 2019 school year has started, but today is actually the first full day of school.
First up was Déla who had her first day of 9th grade.
Then, nearly a week later, August had his first day.
The next day it was Ciaran and Xavier’s turn.
For the preschool, this is where things get a little crazy. The preschool has two programs, morning and afternoon. There is no full day option. Half of each class goes for two days (Thursday and Friday) then the other half goes for two days (Monday and Tuesday) with everybody going on Wednesday. Last week Tevye was in the group going the first two days for the afternoon preschool.
The next week, as in this week (finally) we came close to getting things to “normal” when Tevye stayed home for two days from his afternoon preschool and Grace had her very first day in the morning.
Today, Wednesday, is the first day all of the kids will actually be in school.
Grace – A.M. preschool
Tevye – P.M. preschool
Xavier – 3rd grade
Ciaran – 6th grade
Déla – 9th grade
August – 10th grade
For those of you keeping track, we have 6 different school schedules, two different preschool schedules (thankfully at the same location) the elementary and middle school (same school as the preschool, but different schedule), so that’s three so far. The two teens are in two different high schools, and then Laura is still teaching at her school.
Six different school schedules this year.
